Clayton King
God saved Clayton King when he was 14 years old, and the same night he was saved he felt God call
him into the ministry. He surrendered to that call and since age 14 has preached to almost 2 million
people in 23 countries and 45 states. Clayton graduated from of Gardner-Webb University in 1995 with a
degree in Religious Studies as the Graduate of the Year and a Presidential Scholar. He is currently
enrolled in seminary with a concentration in Missions and Evangelism. He, his wife Charie, and their
two sons, Jacob and Joseph, live in Boiling Springs, NC.

Matt Orth
Matt Orth has a heart for true Biblical discipleship, and it comes through loud and clear when he
teaches students. His desire is to make lifelong followers of Jesus Christ who understand who God
is and who they are in relationship to God. He teaches straight from scripture, verse by verse,
applying it to relevant topics and cultural issues that students face daily. He is authentic and
transparent and is a solid speaker and teacher with years of experience and loads of enthusiasm for

Scott Ryan
One word that can describe Scott Ryan is “passionate!” Scott has been speaking since he was seventeen
years old to churches, youth groups, camps, conferences, and retreats. He has spoken in many states as
well as five different countries. He is a gifted communicator of the Gospel who has been called by God
to teach the Word. His delivery is energetic, fun, and intelligent. Scott feels a call to minister
especially to youth and college-aged students in the United States and around the world. His goal is
accurate biblical interpretation in context and a practical application to the lives of young and old
alike. God has called Scott to preach salvation and make life-long disciples of Jesus Christ. He speaks
on a number of topics including salvation, discipleship, service, social justice, and many others. You
will find Scott to be authentic, honest, very down to earth, wise beyond his years, and willing to truly
serve students and ministers.

Brad Borders
Brad Borders is from Statesville NC. He is Tammy’s husband and is Tori (12) and Jack’s (8) dad. He is
currently serving in the US Army as a Chaplain. He has been teaching and preaching for 11 years both
itinerantly and as a youth pastor. He’s been involved with Crossroads for 10 years. He is passionate
about defending the faith and bringing the gospel to the world. Whether you have a group of
middle-schoolers, bikers, soldiers, hunters, or anyone else who will listen he’d be glad to come and
teach or preach and tell a story or two. He will never compromise the truth. The Bible is his source
of strength and authority and the saving messages of the cross and the resurrection are his joy.
He loves anything outdoors so any venue will do. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University
(1990) and Southern Evangelical Seminary (2002) in Charlotte NC.

Brian Burgess
Brian Burgess is a 30-year-old evangelist and youth pastor who is called and annointed of God to preach
the Gospel. Brian was saved at the age of 14 and surrendered to ministry at the age of 16. Since that
time Brian has spoken to churches, public schools, camps, universities, and special interest groups all
over the United States and in several foreign countries. Brian has an amazing story of how Christ
transformed him from being a rebellious teenager into a man who is passionate about God. Brian clearly
communicates the timeless principles of God’s Word with effective zeal and enthusiasm. Moreover, he
