Clayton King (President) is the President of Crossroads Worldwide and also the Founder. He began preaching in 1988 at the age of 14 and started Crossroads in 1995 at the age of 22. He has traveled in 45 states and 23 countries and is married to his best friend, Charie. They have been blessed with 2 wonderful boys named Jacob and Joseph and hope to adopt a daughter in the future. Clayton loves the mountains, has killed a giant bear, and can talk backwards. He has been to India and the Himalayas numerous times, spent several hours with Billy Graham in his home recently, and hopes to one day travel to Alaska with his family. He was adopted as an infant and loves his parents dearly.

Matt Orth (Ministry Director) is from Pennsylvania and attended Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. His job description includes directing and planning all CR events, overseeing the CDH program, and teaching itinerantly. He is also an elder and frequent teacher at Broad River Community Church in Boiling Springs, NC. He has a heart for discipleship and for helping people maintain a consistent relationship with God. He has been married to Shannon Orth since 1995 and they have a daughter named Micah (1/1/99) and a menagerie of animals including a skunk, a prairie dog, and a legion of hedgehogs. Matt loves books that engage his imagination, fall weather, the Philadelphia Eagles, hiking, kayaking and good coffee with good friends.

Jeremy Berger (Office Manager) is originally from Inverness, FL but moved to Boiling Springs 12 years ago in order to attend Gardner-Webb University where he received a degree in Religion. Since then, he has come on board at Crossroads, married Katherine Grace Weldin, and assisted in the birth of their son, Wyatt Josiah. Jeremy and his wife also Co-Lead the Youth Group at their home church. Wyatt is the Mascot.

Justin Brock (Missions Director) is from Seneca, South Carolina. He graduated from Clemson University, majoring in Spanish. Prior to joining the Crossroads staff, he participated in our Community Discipleship Home. Justin has a passion for missions, foreign and domestic. His most recent mission trips have been to a Nepal, India, and Malaysia. He is looking forward to continuing established relationships with Crossroads missionaries across the world, as well as the opportunity to develop our mission’s ministry. Justin also leads the music at Broad River Community Church. This is Justin’s third year at Crossroads.

Micah and Aubree Martin (CDH Parents) moved to Boiling Springs in August 2008 from Greensboro, NC where they have lived since 1996. They have one amazing daughter, Eliza, born in May 2007. Originally from Harrisburg, NC (near Charlotte) , Aubree graduated from UNC Greensboro in 1999 with a BS in Marketing, then served as the program manager for Junior Achievement of Central NC and as the Director of Children’s Ministries for DayStar Christian Fellowship from 1999-2008. Micah is originally from Mayodan, NC. He graduated from UNC Greensboro in 1998 with a BA in English and again in 2000 with a MA in Writing & Editing. Micah worked in administration and taught at UNC Greensboro from 2001-2008 while serving as Community Discipleship pastor at DayStar Christian Fellowship. Micah also worked Crossroads summer camps from 1999-2001. Micah & Aubree have a passion for creating spiritual community at home and abroad. They love people, cooking (and eating), music, art and spending time out doors gardening, hiking and camping. Right now, Liza loves emptying the kitchen cabinets, learning to talk, throwing food and squealing at the top of her lungs.
