Community Discipleship Home

The Community Discipleship Home was built in the 1960's and is in excellent condition. A family here in the community recently lived there and God worked it out perfectly for Crossroads to purchase the home when the owners needed to relocate to a smaller house. The CDH itself was then paid off completely before the program ever began by a generous one-time donation from a family in Florida whose teens had been blessed by CRWW!

The CDH is located conveniently off of Highway 150 in Boilingthe kitchen and upstairs bedroom Springs, NC and is located adjacent to the Broad River Greenway (a North Carolina State Park with over 1,000 acres of wilderness). The atmosphere around the house is very peaceful and serene. There are two main floors of the house and each floor contains a kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and lots of storage space. There is a sun room, a back deck, and a library on the first floor as well as a big family room on each level for Bible studies, worship, group discussions, and building community. The CDH also boasts an in-ground pool (and water slide!) which is in terrific condition and ready to be used!

It is secluded but accessible and easy to find, and it is less than 1 mile from one of the most beautiful natural creations in the Eastern United States, the Broad River.

The property is adjacent to the Broad River Greenway which offers multiple walking or biking trails. In fact, there is a trail from the house to the Greenway which provides the perfect atmosphere for meditating on God and his word.

Our goal with the Community Discipleship Home is to create a safe and warm place for young men and women to live and experience one year of deliberate discipleship, under the care and leadership of House Parents.

They will intern for Crossroads, gaining practical ministry experience through administrative duties, running our summer camps, leading our mission trips, traveling with our speakers, and learning ministry from hands-on experience as well as being discipled by the people in the Crossroads Community.
