Brian Burgess is a 30-year-old evangelist and youth pastor who is called and annointed of God to preach the Gospel.  Brian was saved at the age of 14 and surrendered to ministry at the age of 16. Since that time Brian has spoken to churches, public schools, camps, universities, and special interest groups all over the United States and in several foreign countries.  Brian has an amazing story of how Christ transformed him from being a rebellious teenager into a man who is passionate about God.  Brian clearly communicates the timeless principles of God’s Word with effective zeal and enthusiasm.  Moreover, he enjoys teaching people of all ages how Christ makes the difference in daily living. 
Brian is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a B.A. in Religious Studies and a Masters of Divinity degree in Pastoral Studies.  As well, he is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  God’s call on Brian’s life has allowed him to have a thriving ministry as an evangelist.  He is also the Youth and Singles Minister at Western Avenue Baptist in Statesville, North Carolina where he has served them for the past 7 years.   Brian is also the founder of Toolin’ In Town, a ministry outreach to the rough-and-tumble world of bikers. Brian believes that his ministry should be closely connected to the Church so that there is an outlet for evangelism and discipleship. 

Brian is married to Angie Burgess, and they have three boys.  They enjoy working out, camping, traveling the world, and riding motorcycles.  It is Brian’s desire that their life, family, and ministry will so accurately reflect God’s grace and power that they may encourage and enrich your ministry.
